My Valentine

I’ve been making this post since last night but to my luck, I’ve been always disconnected to my network. I hope I have the chance now. : )

February 14, we celebrate this special day for our love ones, to our love ones, and especially to our love ones… As to what we already knew and practiced, we expressess our feelings to the one we love and care by sending gifts, greeting cards and flowers. (But for me, I didn’t sent her! I personally handed it to her, though I’m nearly considered to arrive late, hehe). I’m lucky enough to have her and knowing she’ll forever stay at my side, something I asked when we first tossed our smiles and both take this trip until she almost whispher her goodbye to me silently. I’m not that happy to be looked at my face but I’m certainly filled with inspirations and pleasure deep inside. Thanks Bhy.

For me, it’s not the gift nor the day itself that should be accentuated, but to let her know and feel that she’s the special one…

Here’s my gift to her. Just wrote it in my mind before but decided to published it later. Why?, Why Not? :)

Isn’t it that cheap?? :)

Ahhh! (Twist And Shout!)

It’s already two days passed but I still feel that I’m hearing shouts and screams in my ear after having a heart-pounding rides at Star City in Manila last Sunday. I’m having a hangover (tama ba?) maybe because that’s my first time to experience that thrilling thing. Halos tumigil nga sa pagtibok puso ko at tumabingi mukha ko doon sa una naming sinakyan, I forgot the name of the ride. Nadala din kami doon sa Surf Dance ni Bhy dahil ilang minuto ka ba namang ibabad at ihagis sa taas. Sway, sway, sway. I heard Bhy saying “Tama na…”  I thought she’s only joking and having fun pero totoo na pala pagkatapos nyang sinabi sa akin after we got our feet back on the ground. Hehe.

We spend a great time and did a lot of fun there. Ghost Hunting, Time Travel, Bump Cars, we drove the Flying Carpet : ), we even freeze ourselves in the so-called Snow World, and what I’d liked most is the Wild, Wild River, : ). We also won some stuffs (small sizes lang kasi iyon lang kaya ng pulso namin e, hehe).  Of course hindi mawawala picture taking and snacks… Here are some pics taken.

We dived into that Wild River

Hold Me Tight

The camera’s shiverring and chilling too!

Sleepy Head

There are so many things to do, many projects to start, many ideas to think, many dreams to dream??? But I feel sleepy and I feel like I’m drowning. I like to lay my head on my desk and follow what my eyes want, but there’ss a spy camera at my 1′oclock sight above. Huh… Siguro Friday lang kaya tinatamad talaga ako, siguro nga. hehe.  Post nalang ako dito para mejo magising nang konti.

Beatles Forever

                                               The Beatles

I’ve known the Beatles for almost 8 years now, well almost a decade already to make it long :) . I first heard their names when watching one of the special episodeds of the late Ernie Baron’s Knowledge Power. At first, I didn’t gave my attention watching the show because I’m not interested in the topic at all, not just like some of the episodes discussing some discoveries and mysteries. But when I heard something like “why the beatles succeeded and became famous all over the world?”, I said “WOW!”, and I left what I’m doing and concentrated on the TV instead. I can’t believe they achieved that success in their career (as singer & composer, as a band) after learning all those from the show. This is the first time I saw and heard the name John LennonPaul McCartney, George Harisson and Ringo Starr. No, actually, I first saw the Lennon/McCartney partner/composers in my songbooks cause I’m trying-hard to study playing guitar by that time. I asked my father if he knew these guys. And he replied absoulutely “of course, yes!” and he mentioned some of the great songs that top the charts and still remembered this time (after 4 decades!, 40 years past!). I’m amazed and gave a chance to hear for their music by listnening every Sunday at the radio (I don’t have any tapes of them that time) cause this is only the time they play oldies but goodies songs (as they say). Well, as like what they judged, I began to like the taste of their music, though it’s more on rock n’ roll (I don’t want to hear rock n’ roll before until I appreciated it later when I heard The Beatles playing it in their own style). More songs I heard from them. The only way I will learn a new song from them is when I hear the DJ saying “that song was from Lennon/McCartney, and The Beatles”  after the song finished playing. Radio is not enough for me to know all their songs (I’m still curious why they hit the world through their music) so I consulted the online resource. And yes, I found out everything about them. Their biggest hit includes: the all time fav Yesterday, Let It BeI Wanna Hold Your HandThe Long And Winding Road and their etched  song  version of “Twist And Shout,”  just to name a few.

I am convinced and began to idolize them and I bought my very first record of them entitled “The Beatles Love Songs”. I played it all the time after school and before going to sleep at night, and really loved their recordings. More and more casette tapes I bought and collected then, thanks to may hard-earned pocket money :) . I also began collecting songbook of their songs, downloading group and solo pics of them. Until now, I almost have collected  their songs in every album, even the unreleased ones. Watched popular videos and footage, interviews. And before I forgot, my gf really lovs me :) , she even gave me a gift, a T-Shirt with a picture of The Beatles in it!

That’s how I mean the band. How I introduced them to myself. How I appreciate their creativity and their great works and achievements. I maybe the number one fans of The Beatles :) Almost every fan actually will say it. :)

The Beatles are gone now but their music will live forever, and still, they are The Greatest Band Ever!!!

A Night Life At Makati

John and Yoko NotFor the very first time we did some food and shop hunting at Makati. Very fun!.. No, we actually want to experience life during night there. We started the fun by buying her, you know, the shopaholic girl of mine :) dress at SM. Oh, before that, we have already eaten some pizza. While we’re loitering inside the mall, thinking where should we go next, we heard JAYA, yes JAYA, entertaining at the mall. Almost half-hour passed, and we found our selves lost again in this place, the first time was when we’re looking for a job here some years ago. Almost tired, guessing where then we should head, finally found where to spend the rest of the hours. Yes, we accidentaly found Glorietta and Greenbelt. Naalala ko bago namin mahanap yung Greenbelt, nagtanong si Bhy sa Guard, ”Saan po ba dito yung Glorietta 5?”  Sumagot si manong, ”Mam, ginagawa pa po iyong 5.” Natawa kaming tatlo. hehe.

It’s almost 8 when we reached the place where mga sosyal always want to hang out. We began to spot for the right restaurant because we’re absolutely hungry by that time. :)  And the right one is: JOHN and YOKO. Because of the following expectations:

- we’d like to know if John (not yoko) is there
- we could take some pictures of John (not yoko) inside
- we can hear some music from John (not yoko)
- lastly, we can have a great dinner!

And in our best luck, they only granted us the last one. Eventhough, we’re satisfied enough.

John is Me, and Yoko is… Not Her. :)

This should have been posted last Sunday, Jan 26. Busy…Disconnected…Busy…Disconnected…

3 Days Absent

I wasn’t able to post here for three consecutive days now. Why? A lot of things happened. Been busy doing things, thinking things, and thinking of her. And the question now is Did I finish or accomplish something? Did I make something worthwhile or did I win in the Lotto?”

I’ll be back later and will answer those…

Just In Time, All Healed Were Wounded

Why this blog was so late? I have a blank mind since yesterday until I don’t know when will it last. I don’t know what to log here, as I don’t know where to find  myself, what I’m doing now, or what will happen next. I still have that fresh memory of how He let me see the truth…

How can I find the answer of all these things happening to me?

And Then To Seattle’s

I thought we’re going home when she had bought one of the new releases of her book, I mean the book she’s been
busy reading with. But then she said, “Usap muna tayo, tagal na tayong di nakakapag-usap e,” “Wow”.

We went to a coffee house but we ordered Choco and Strawberry drinks instead. :) She asked me what would I suggest about her career. To my
concern I advised her as to what I believe is good for her and told her to weigh  things equally. After that we waisted our time reading some magz in the stand. I knew, she’s thinking of those things deep inside. Hay… bhy, just don’t worry.

Dinner At Sbarro

After my business at Makati, I drove my way  (kahit commute lang sa totoo) to my Eyzel’s office. I arrived there at 3pm and waited for her until past 5 na ata yun. (Nag-empty narin PSP ko kakalaro, hehe). We were both hungry so we decided to take our dinner at the nearby small mall named MOA. But before we go to the place where we feed ourselves, a thing or two, may pinagtatalunan kami lagi, hehe, nakakatuwa kasi from the start na magkasama kami, ganito kami lagi, ganito lagi tanong:

Saan tayo kakain? Ano kakainin natin?”  Until one of us answers, “Oh, ako una nagtanong, ikaw naman ngayon mag-suggest.”

Pupong or Sbarro? We chose the latter kasi mas mahal, hehe. We did some conversations and some stories about what happened that day. Some ideas were shared and smiles were thrown to each other during that night. I was so happy we’re doing things again just like before.

I wish this could be the answer to my prayers…

Negotiable?

“How negotiable is this?” This was the third  question that was asked to  me when I  was in the hot seat yesterday. After a second or two, I replied back to her, ” It depends on your compensation and benefits Ma’am,” Then she smiled. The session lasts for about 10 min. or more and then I left.

Owwww, there are many questions in my mind that makes me think such as, ”Di ba nila kayang tapatan iyon?”  while  leaving that place. OK lang, nasabi ko totoo and I weighed the things to be considered already before asking for that amount…
